Originating in 1949 the ELVOLAC© product range was founded by the Draper family and situated in Durban, South Africa, have become specialists in the wood coatings & industrial markets.

In 1975 AECI purchased ELVOLAC©. A national distribution network, Technipaint Holdings, was set up to give an all round service to a rapid growing customer base.

ELVOLAC© eventually started its own product manufacturing and in 2002 acquired the AECI wood & industrial coatings division.

ELVOLAC© supplies coatings to all the Technipaint branches nationwide, as well as 30 satellite distributors that represent our products.

ELVOLAC© is continuously improving on its existing products and frequently introduce new products to the market. Our paint chemists are qualified paint specialists, with years of experience in the Wood finish, Industrial and Plastic coatings. All products are thoroughly tested over a period of time before being introduced to the market user.

The ELVOLAC© policy is not to sell the cheapest product, but to focus on competitive, quality products and new innovative products that save time & money for our customers, with excellent service & technical backup.
